Levelwear, an apparel licensee of the National Hockey League (NHL) and NHL Players’ Association (NHLPA), has expanded its agreement to become the “Official Face Cover of the NHL.” After meeting the NHL’s demand for cloth face covers for players and staff during the League’s highly successful Return to Play for the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs in Toronto and Edmonton, Levelwear will again supply high-end, performance-driven cloth face covers to NHL team locker rooms, players, coaches and equipment staffs. The same face covers are available in designs for each of the 31 NHL teams and the new Seattle Kraken franchise in both adult and youth sizes at leading retailers.
Levelwear specializes in premium athletic apparel meeting high standards in aesthetics, functionality and performance. Its design integrates “Guard 3” technology, a triple layer knit featuring Bluesign approved antibacterial fabric and a filter pocket with a disposable PM 2.5 filter.
Levelwear CEO, Hilton Ngo said, “We have been honored to work with the NHL on this project and know that everyone who uses the masks will find the products excelling in terms of their comfort, quality and performance.”
”In what is now a ubiquitous world of face covers, we believe Levelwear has brought a best in class product to our locker rooms and to our fans,” said NHL Group Vice President of Consumer Products Jim Haskins added. “Along with our partners, we will continue to innovate the product in an effort to always present a standard of excellence in the space. “
Levelwear is also helping communities impacted by COVID-19 through the donations totaling more than $200,000 in support of small businesses, organizations, and charities. Donation recipients included the likes of Food Banks Canada, Feeding America, as well as a long list of community organizations, charities, relief funds, and small businesses throughout North America.”
